Health unit rescinds heat advisory

The hottest, most uncomfortable weather of the summer could be behind us.Last week’s heat wave broke on the weekend, prompting the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit to lift its latest heat advisory.“Current outdoor temperatures and those forecasted by Environment Canada are below the threshold used by the health unit to continue a heat warning,” Norfolk County said in a news release Sunday.Environment Canada is predicting a pleasant week ahead. Following cloudy spells and showers Monday morning skies will clear and temperatures will be seasonal through the weekend.Forecast high temperatures in Norfolk this week will range between  23 and 28 degrees C.
